Airport TSA Times (airporttsatimes.com, including the guides at /blog) is run by BLRB Digital. This page explains what the site collects and why. Questions or requests: adam@blrbdigital.com.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people use. It sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you view and a few site events: opening an airport page, using "Near me" (the nearest airport code and the rounded distance, never your coordinates) and submitting a wait report (airport, checkpoint and minutes).
- Wait time reports. When you report a wait, we store the airport, the checkpoint, the minutes you entered and the time. Reports are anonymous and public. We don't ask for your name, email or an account.
- Public posts. Some reports come from public posts on X about airport security lines. We show the post text and a link to the post.
- Location. "Near me" asks your browser for your location and uses it on your device to find the closest airport. Your coordinates are not sent to us.
- Server logs. Our web server keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, page and time) for security and troubleshooting.
What we don't do
No accounts, no email list and no advertising pixels. We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Google, for analytics (Google's privacy policy).
- Supabase, which stores wait reports.
- Our own hosting server, which serves the site and keeps the logs.
How long we keep it
Google Analytics keeps event data for the retention period set in our account, at most 14 months. Wait reports stay up while the site runs unless you ask us to remove one. Server logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
Your choices
- If you visit from the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google Analytics stays off (no analytics cookies) until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Anyone can change their choice with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Reject turns analytics off and removes its cookies.
- Block analytics with your browser's cookie settings or Google's opt-out add-on.
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing adam@blrbdigital.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia or the EU), you may have legal rights to access, correct or delete your data. We'll answer requests whether or not a law requires it.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
When our practices change, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top.
